BARN CONVERSION

December 2013 saw the Williams Brothers complete the finishing touches for a stylish barn in South Herefordshire. The team were asked to convert a redundant farm building into impressive and spacious living accommodation for a valued client. The existing stone shell was enhanced with modern insulation, slate roof and attractive coloured boarding. Inside a bright and white scheme complimented the natural wood and slate floors. Director Stewart Williams says ‘every project throws up unexpected challenges and none more so than in older properties, but this barn was full of pleasant surprises like the round stone wall which has given a theatrical feeling to the wet room.’
